Application for Enrollment
The Online Application for Enrollment with Student Survey must be filled out and submitted electronically to the Admissions Office. There is no application deadline; however, an Online Application for Enrollment with Student Survey must be completed prior to a student taking a placement test.  Submitting the Online Application for Enrollment and Student Survey does not automatically enroll a student, nor does it guarantee placement in the incoming freshman class.

Placement Test
All incoming 9th graders must take an SCHS Placement Test. The Online Application for Enrollment with Student Survey must be completed prior to test day. Students are also asked to submit copies of 7th and 8th grade reports cards prior to or on the day of the test.

This test is one of several factors used to prepare a student's schedule should he/she choose to attend St. Catherine's. Other factors may include recommendations from student’s teachers, parental input and insight, as well as the student’s personal preferences.

Tuesday, November 6, 2012: 3:45-6:15pm
Tuesday, February 5, 2013: 3:45-6:15pm
Wednesday, March 13, 2013 3:30-6pm

Pre-registration is encouraged. Please call the Admissions Office at 632-2785, ext. 429 or 402, to reserve your spot or click here.

To schedule a Placement Test other than the pre-determined dates, contact the SCHS Admissions Office at 632-2785, ext. 429. Tests are offered during the summer and by appointment during the school day.

Once Placement Test scores, report cards, student survey data and recommendation are reviewed, students will receive an invitation to participate in "Results are In" Night on Wednesday, January 16, 2013. At this time families will receive their child's Placement Test score, learn what the scores mean and find out information regarding Freshmen Registration.

Shadow Visit
Why not consider a shadow day at St. Catherine's? It's the best way to experience the angel way first-hand!

Registration for 9th Grade
The student and parents will meet with a St. Catherine's counselor on either one of the scheduled meeting dates, or by appointment, to select courses for the upcoming school year. The results of the placement test, the student's interests as well as recommendations from 8th grade teachers and the parents will be used to determine appropriate course selection. Registration on these specific dates is most advisable to ensure availability of desired courses.

Registration Dates for the Class of 2017

Thursday, January 24, 2013 3-7pm
Tuesday, January 29, 2013 3-7pm
Parents must complete the online Tuition Payment Agreement (link will be available beginning January 7, 2013) and pay the annual non-refundable Technology deposit prior to or at the registration appointment. The 2012-13 Technology deposit is $450. The new deposit amount will be determined in November 2012.

Financial Aid
If financial aid is desired for the 2013-14 school year, new families may participate in the early session. Applications will be available beginning Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at Open House. Completed financial aid applications must be mailed to PSAS no later than Friday, November 16, 2012. If new families miss the early session deadline, the spring session for financial aid begins in February, 2013. Click here for more information about the St. Catherine's Financial Aid Program. Deadline to apply for aid during the spring session is April 15, 2013.

TRANSFER POLICY

Complete Application

The standard Online Application for Enrollment with Student Survey must be submitted electronically. Academic records from the prior two years are also required.

Release of School Records

The “release of records form” must be signed by the transferring student's parent(s) giving St. Catherine's permission to obtain a copy of the student's records from the current school. This includes all academic progress, standardized test scores, attendance, behavior and discipline records. Once the application, records, survey and recommendations are assembled by SCHS Director of Admissions, the request will be processed and reviewed.

If the student is accepted by St. Catherine's, the Registrar will contact the family to make arrangements for a placement test (if this step hasn't been completed) and course registration. The Registrar will work with the transferring student to align current courses and ensure that the student is set on a course for graduation from St. Catherine's.

St. Catherine's will accept a transfer request from any student in grades 9 through 11. Twelfth grade requests are accepted only from students moving into the area.

Athletics

Students wanting to be eligible for athletics must be aware of the WIAA rules for athletic eligibility and transferring.
Please call the school for more information.

In all transfer situations, every effort is made by St. Catherine's to provide a smooth transition into the school, regardless of the time of year.
Please call the Admissions Office for more information on transferring to St. Catherine's High School - we're here to help!
