~St. Catherine's Mission Statement

Dear Father,
Eternal God,
Bless all schools, colleges, and universities,
especially St. Catherine's,
that they may be lively centers for sound learning,
new discovery, and the pursuit of wisdom;
and grant that those who teach and those who learn
may find you to be the source of all truth; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
Faith Life at SCHS
Faith life is paramount at St. Catherine's High School, evident every day in the curriculum and the interactions of students and teachers.
The community of SCHS affirms that education is a primary means of carrying out the mission of Christ to teach and live love of God and love of neighbor in our diverse global community, thereby building a society based on justice and peace. As part of the people of God, we therefore strive to provide an education which includes:
- an emphasis on the faith-life and more development of the students,
- a concern for the individual needs of the learner,
- an atmosphere which fosters care and respect for self and others,
- a commitment to justice and peace.

Retreats at SCHS

Every fall, the individual classes at St. Catherine's take a break from their normal school day routine to go on retreat with their classmates. These retreats offer students a chance to reflect on the talents they've been given, God's intentions for those skills, and how they can use their abilities to be torchbearers of the Dominican word throughout the school year.
