Welcome to St. Catherine's High School

Welcome to the St. Catherine’s website. We are a community committed to education based on the Dominican pillars of prayer, community, study, and preaching/service. This process of education is on-going and involves everyone in the community --- teachers, staff, students, and parents. All of us must be committed to living those gospel values that direct us to love God, self, and others. In doing so, we worship together regularly, express gratitude for the many blessings we are given, and recognize the importance of our need for God in our lives. We learn to have compassion and concern for others, to respect all aspects of life, and to share our gifts and talents with others in responding to their needs. We also learn to be truthful, honest, faithful, and forgiving people.

We are certainly dedicated to academic excellence as well, but we must always realize the importance of recognizing our interconnectedness and our interdependency with one another. We work and learn together in order to add to our knowledge base and enhance our abilities, imagination, and creativity. Throughout the school year, each of us is afforded a number of opportunities to contribute to both our personal growth and to the growth of the entire SCHS community. It’s up to us to take advantage of those opportunities.
