New 9th grade Student Placement Test Registration

All incoming 9th grade students will be required to take the STAR360 reading and math placement test. These tests will provide results that will assist St. Catherine’s staff in correctly placing students in the appropriate level courses. The STAR360 tests are computer adaptive which means they are administered on a computer, and questions will increase in level of difficulty as students answer them correctly. The timing will vary by individual, but generally takes a student anywhere from 20 minutes to 35 minutes to complete each test. While the student is testing, parents are encouraged to meet with Siena Admissions Office team members to complete paperwork, ask questions and drop off needed documents.

Incoming 9th graders who test in January or February are eligible for the $2,000 tuition-based John McGuire Placement Test Scholarship.
